Tech Tip: NameCoach, the New Canvas-Integrated Tool
|
Now that your classes are settling into a rhythm, it's time to learn everyone's names and faces. There is a new Canvas-integrated tool that can help: NameCoach. NameCoach can help you learn the correct pronunciation of your students' names -- and also help them learn each other's names, so they have a greater sense of community and inclusion.
There are three main steps to the process:
1. Record your name: Here's how
2, Invite students to record their names: Here's how
3, Listen to each other's names (and replay as needed): Here's how
... and an optional fourth step: Create a NameCoach assignment in Canvas.
