Academic Affairs Seeks Two Faculty Fellows to Serve as Faculty Advancement and Leadership Development Fellows
|
Office Academic Affairs seeks two faculty fellows to serve as Faculty Advancement and Leadership Development Fellows. Chosen fellows will provide leadership for developing and delivering workshops in support of promotion and tenure for faculty (both tenure-track and non-tenure-track), supporting the Leading and Inspiring Faculty Together (LIFT) Mentoring Circles, and collaborating with the IUPUI Next Generation 2.0 program. The Faculty Fellow position is a part-time appointment and should be ideal for an individual interested in gaining experience working with campus-wide academic administration and devoted to the work of mentorship and faculty development in higher education. Candidates should submit the following information to oaa.iupui.edu by June 30, 2022.
1. A letter of 1-2 pages providing evidence of the qualifications outlined above and describing special projects or areas of interest to explore in this position; 2. An abbreviated curriculum vitae; and 3. Indication of support from department chairperson or dean.

Invitation by CTL and OAA to IUPUI faculty to join the Forum Fellows.
|
The IUPUI Office of Academic Affairs and the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) invite interested IUPUI faculty to join the Forum Fellows. The purpose of the Fellow position is to generate a greater sense of community among faculty on the Indianapolis, Columbus, and Fort Wayne campuses, to support professional development in areas that intersect with teaching (e.g., mentoring, inclusive teaching, multicultural competency) and to encourage innovation in teaching and SOTL scholarship. Supporting projects that involve interdisciplinary sharing and exchange among faculty from different schools is particularly valued. The Forum Fellow position is a part-time appointment for one-to-two years and should be ideal for an individual devoted to student learning and interested in gaining professional development, experiences that could help provide a foundation for future leadership positions.
