Thank you for your interest in the Peer Observation of Teaching Faculty Learning Community. The FLC runs from Fall 2026 through Spring 2027. Participants will attend a kick-off meeting, complete the online asynchronous online FACET course, participate in a reciprocal peer-observation cycle, and complete a final reflection and program assessment survey. Participants who attend all meetings and submit deliverables receive a $500 stipend and will be invited to sign up to be a FACET-certified peer reviewer.

Please complete the application form using a computer/laptop for easy navigation. Completing the form on a phone may not be convenient.

4. To be eligible to participate in the FLC, you should be teaching an undergraduate course for the reciprocal observation.
   • Select the undergraduate courses you will be teaching in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. (courses will be autopopulated for applicant)
   • Include any other undergraduate courses not in list.
5. Based on your experience teaching HIP courses, would you like to like to participate in the HIPs track of this FLC, where you will be engaging in reciprocal observations of HIPs courses? (Note: you will need to be currently teaching or plan to teach a HIP course in Spring 2027).

8. What is your prior experience with having a peer or a program chair/adminstrator observe your teaching in the past three years: None, have had less than three peer observations, have had more than three peer observations

10. Successful completion of the FLC includes participation in the following activities. Check all the activities in which you are able to participate.
    • Attend In-person Kick-Off Meeting on October 30
    • Complete the FACET peer review course by December
    • Attend mid-semester virtual check-in meeting in mid-November
    • Complete reciprocal peer observation and reflection survey by end of February
    • Attend final reflection meeting on March 5
    • (Optional) Sign up to be a FACET-certified peer reviewer (open to full-time faculty only)
    • (Optional) Sign up to conduct two peer reviews by the end of Spring 2027 to receive an additional $500 stipend
